Holiday Brunch

This Saturday SOS Scholars and Alumni gathered for our annual holiday party and it was one of those mornings that reminds me why this community is so special.

There was lots of laughter, lots of sugar, and some very serious gingerbread house decorating (creativity was high, structural integrity… varied). Scholars shared stories from the past semester, highs, challenges, proud moments, and I also spent time chatting with recent alumni who came to talk about their jobs, life after graduation, and the very real experience of being adults.

It was joyful, a little chaotic, and full of connection, the kind of space where Scholars can relax, be themselves, and feel supported.

And truly, none of this would have been possible without you.

Your support creates moments like these. It builds community. It gives Scholars a place to belong and people who believe in them, not just during the holidays, but all year long.

From me (and a some very sugar-fueled Scholars), thank you for being part of this story.
