Allie Update

In July, I shared Allie’s story with you — a bright, determined Florida State junior who suddenly found herself facing an unexpected financial aid shortfall. She had done everything right: worked hard, maintained strong grades, and stayed active in our community, yet still faced the possibility of not being able to afford essentials like books and food this semester.

Thanks to the generosity of caring supporters like you, Allie was able to fill the gap in her funding and remain on track this fall. She worked closely with the university’s financial aid office, and I’m thrilled to share that most of her scholarships and aid have now been restored.

Allie told me she feels incredibly grateful — and relieved — to have people in her corner who believe in her potential. She’s back to focusing on what she does best: studying hard, volunteering, and moving one step closer to her dream of becoming a clinical psychologist who helps young people through life’s challenges.
